JOHNSTOWN - Two members of the Fulton-Montgomery Community College Board of Trustees have been reappointed by Gov. David Paterson, college officials said Monday.

Edmund Jasewicz was appointed to a one-year term in 2009 to fill a vacancy on the board. The reappointment will extend his position on the board until June 30, 2017.

James Landrio, vice chairman of the board, was appointed to a nine-year term in 2001 by former Gov. George Pataki. His reappointment will secure his spot on the board until June 30, 2017.

Landrio was recently given the Trustee Leadership Award by the State Community College Trustee Association. He is the first FMCC Board of Trustees member to receive the award.

The Board of Trustees is made up of 10 volunteer representatives from Fulton and Montgomery counties. They are appointed either by their respective county legislature or the governor.

A student trustee, elected by the student body, also serves on the board.

"We are pleased to have both Ed and Jim reappointed to our Board," said FMCC President Dustin Swanger.
