Stephen and Melinda Girard of Mayfield announce the engagement of their son, Aaron Girard, to Ashley Bissonette, the daughter of Michael and Michelle Bissonette of Clifton Park.
Bissonette is a 2008 graduate of the College of St. Rose with a bachelor's degree in special education and a master's degree in education. She is a math teacher at the KIPP: Tech Valley, a charter school, Albany.
Girard is a 2008 graduate of the College of St. Rose with a bachelor's degree in accounting and is working toward a master's degree in education.
