Ruth Mowitt Richmond celebrated her 100th birthday on Wednesday. Richmond, who was married to the late Kenneth Richmond, taught third grade in the Greater Johnstown School District until 1967. She received birthday greetings in cards and from visitors, including family members, friends and former students.
