Frank and Antonia Van Skiver of Gloversville, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently in Broadalbin.
Antonia Van Skiver is the former Antonia Puglia of Amsterdam. The couple married June 25, 1950, at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Amsterdam.
The celebration, a family picnic, took place at the Great Sacandaga Lake with their children, Ronald (Beth) Van Skiver and SueAnn (Noel) Wing of Johnstown, Dorothy (Michael) La Porta of Gloversville and Patricia (Thomas) Gibson of Schenectady.

They have: two stepgrandchildren, Scott (Anita) Royer and Terra (Chad) Kratz; eight grandchildren, Eric Van Skiver, Brittany Van Skiver, Peter (Erica) Wing, Anna Wing, Marlaina Wing, Joseph La Porta, Trevor Gibson and Nicole Gibson. They have a stepgreat-grandson, Shepard Kratz and a great-grandson, Jay Wing.
