Katie Lynn Heimer, the daughter of John and Connie Heimer III of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Jason Edward McCumber, the son of John and Virginia McCumber of Mayfield and Susan Kubovcsak of Gloversville, at 3 p.m. Aug. 15.
The ceremony took place at St. Anthony's Church, Johnstown. The Rev. Kenneth Swain officiated.
The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Stacie Klymkow of Mayfield, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were: Becky Heimer of Gloversville; Heather Knight of Mount Pleasant, S.C., cousin of the bride; Markie Hewett of Greenville, S.C., cousin of the bride; Mary Kelley and Mirlinda Grecaj, both of Albany. The junior bridesmaid was Aiden McCumber of Oolagah, Okla., niece of the bridegroom. The flower girls were Kaylee Klymkow of Mayfield, niece of the bride, and Madison McCumber of Oolagah, niece of the bridegroom.
The best man was Todd Klymkow of Mayfield.
The ushers were: John Heimer IV of Gloversville, brother of the bride; Timothy McCumber of Oologah, brother of the bridegroom; Scott Hale of Johnstown, cousin of the bridegroom; and Gene Frasier of Gloversville.
A reception for 175 guests took place at the Johnstown Holiday Inn.
A wedding trip of a Caribbean cruise took place. The couple resides in Gloversville.
The bride is a 2003 graduate of Gloversville High School and a 2008 graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport, Monroe County. She is a physical education teacher in Fort Plain.
The bridegroom is a 1998 graduate of Mayfield High School and a 2002 graduate of SUNY Plattsburgh. He is an accountant for the Golub Corp.
