Sheriff’s office sponsors course

FULTONVILLE - The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office will sponsor an American Association of Retired Persons driver safety course from 5 to 9 p.m. May 3 and May 9, at the sheriff's office, 200 Clark Drive.

There will be a $14 fee. Checks or money orders can be made payable to AARP. There is a reduction of $2 with proof of AARP membership. Payment will be accepted on the first day of class.

Register by calling the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office at 673-2554, 853-5500 or 736-1850 at anytime, giving name and telephone number. There are a maximum of 35 students allowed per course.

The course will give a reduction of 10 percent off car insurance and re-acquaint those attending with the rules of the road. There is no age limit for the class. Karen Konik will be instructing the course.
