Toni Marie Zidich, the daughter of Randy and Rene Zidich of Johnstown, was united in marriage to Lawrence Patrick Chest, the son of Lawrence Chest of Fultonville and Cynthia Skonieczny of Dolgeville, on Aug. 15, 2009.

The ceremony took place at the Sammonsville Fire Department, Johnstown. The Rev. Philip Carey officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Katrina Pabis of Johnstown. The bridal attendants were: Noell Chest of Johnstown, cousin; Kara Chest of Fultonville and Andrea Coons of Fonda, sister. The junior bridesmaids were Mackenzie and Courtney Chest of Fultonville. The flower girls were: Colleen Chest of Fultonville; Jaidyn and Abigail Chest, both of Johnstown, daughters.

The best man was Richard LaCount of Johnstown. The groomsmen were Adam and Erik Frascatore, both of Johnstown. The ushers were Daniel Slusarz of Amsterdam, Matthew Chest of Fultonville, cousin, and Jacob Zidich of Johnstown, brother.

A reception for 160 guests took place at the Sammonsville Fire Department.

A wedding trip took place in Nottingham Resort. The couple resides in Johnstown.

The bride received an associate degree in human services at Fulton-Montgomery Community College. She is a teller manager for Citizens Bank.

The groom received his general equivalency diploma and works at Walmart Distribution Center.
