CANAJOHARIE - The Canajoharie girls varsity softball program will host a chicken barbecue March 28 from noon to 3 p.m. at Shults' 5 & 10 in Palatine Bridge.

The dinner will be prepared by the Winner's Circle restaurant and includes a half chicken, potato, cole slaw, roll and homemade dessert for $9.

Tickets may be purchased by contacting Canajoharie head coach Jen Petteys at 332-5969 or by e-mail at jpetteys19@gmail.com. Dinners may be purchased the day of the event, but a call ahead for expected count would be appreciated.

All proceeds will benefit the girls softball program to help offset the cost of equipment and training aids.
