Frye-Hunt

Dorothy Lynn Frye, the daughter of Dan and Connie Frye of Canandaigua, Ontario County, was united in marriage to Michael Patrick Hunt, the son of Ellen and Bill Hunt of Johnstown, on Aug. 1.

The nuptial mass took place at St. Patrick's Church, Victor, Ontario County.

The matron of honor was Rebecca DelVillano of Champagne, Ill., sister of the bride. The maid of honor was Elizabeth Frye of Canandaigua, sister of the bride. The bridal attendants were Christine Hunt of Johnstown, sister of the bridegroom, Emma Keating and Laura Horwood-Benton.

The best man was Jonathan Leitch of Johnstown. The groomsmen were Nick DelVillano Champagne, and Ryan Sparrow of Durham, N.C., Christopher Licciardi of Gloversville and Benjamin Kanya of Potsdam.

A reception for family and friends took place at Bristol Mountain Ski Resort, Canandaigua.

A wedding trip took place in Virginia Beach. The couple resides in Unadilla, Otsego County.

The bride and bridegroom, Dan Frye, Rebecca and Nick DelVillano and Elizabeth Frye performed several songs during the ceremony and reception.

The bride is a graduate of the Crane School of Music at the State University of New York at Potsdam with a degree in vocal music education. She is the vocal music teacher at Franklin Central School, Franklin, Delaware County.

The bridegroom is a graduate of Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam with degrees in music composition and theory and in physics. He is pursuing graduate studies in theoretical physics and substitute teaching in the area.
