Carson Andrew Cheney, shown at 4 months old, is the son of Eric and Emily Cheney of Johnstown. He was born Sept. 9, at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany, weighing 8 pounds, 8 ounces and measuring 21 inches long. He has a brother, Carter Cheney.
The maternal grandparents are Cathy VanAlstyne of Johnstown and Lawrence VanAlstyne of Fort Hunter.
The paternal grandparents are Pam and Carl Poest of Zeeland, Mich., and A.C. Cheney and Valerie Bradt of Meco.
