FONDA-Warrants have been issued for the arrests of three out of four Schenectady men who were arrested in August on charges connected to a shooting outside of Slick's Tavern in Amsterdam. The trio failed to appear in Montgomery County Court for an arraignment Wednesday.

Rashawn G. Harris, 29, of 597 Yorkston St., Ronald Santiago, 28, and Jose A. Maschio, 22, both of 597 Lansing St., were charged with second-degree reckless endangerment, two counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Michael J. Bianca, 22, of 1072 Raymond St., pleaded not guilty Wednesday before Judge Felix Catena for the same charges in connection to the shooting.

His trial is scheduled to begin June 14.

In other court action:

  • Angelo Dalmau, 40, of 108 N. Hampton Road, Amsterdam, pleaded not guilty Wednesday to a number of charges in connection to a Nov. 23 burglary and shooting at a residence at 55 Bayard St. in Amsterdam.

Police issued a warrant for Dalmau's arrest the day after the shooting and charged him with first-degree burglary, first-degree reckless endangerment, second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal mischief, first-degree criminal use of a firearm and second and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

Dalmau turned himself into police on Dec. 14.

The two adults and five children in the apartment at the time were not injured.

Dalmau was arrested in December 2008 and charged with third-degree criminal sale of marijuana, a felony. He was off parole at the time of the shooting.

His trial is scheduled to begin June 14.

  • Frank Bartlett, Jr., 30, of 876 Maplewood Ave., Schenectady, pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Authorities said they found cocaine and heroine on Bartlett on Sept. 23 in the town of Amsterdam.

He is expected to be sentenced March 22 to six months in jail and five years probation and ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and forfeit $227 he had on his person at the time of the arrest.

Authorities said they assume the cash was gained through drug sales.

  • Gilberto Muniz, 29, of 86 Bunn St., Amsterdam, pleaded guilty Friday to charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance connected to an Aug. 6 incident in Amsterdam.

Muniz is expected to be sentenced March 29 to five years in state prison, two years post-release supervision and ordered to pay $1,200 restitution for the money undercover police used to buy cocaine?

  • Alexander Landron, 56, of 141 Division St., was sentenced Friday by Judge Catena to three years in state prison, three years post-release supervision and ordered to pay a $325 surcharge.

Landron pleaded guilty on Dec. 10 to charges of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance after he was arrested Sept. 25 by the Amsterdam Police Department for cocaine possession.
