Amanda Morse, the daughter of Diana and Jason Snell of Ephratah, was united in marriage to Cpl. Nicholas Meredith, the son of Robert and Angela Meredith of Caroga Lake, at 3 p.m. Dec. 27, 2009.

The ceremony took place at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Fort Plain. The Rev. Kenneth Dingman officiated.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Michael Morse Jr. of Ephratah.

The maid of honor was Brittany Shutts of Johnstown. The bridal attendants were Amanda Meredith of Caroga Lake; Zoe Reid, Judy Ellerby and Amy Snell, all of Ephratah; and Marcia Baker of Fort Plain.

The best man was Marc Almy of Schenectady. The groomsmen were Michael Morse Jr., Nick Christman, Adam Sweet and Cameron Snell, all of Ephratah; Rusty Shutts of Caroga Lake; and Hunter Strufflino of Schenectady.

A reception for 150 quests took place at the Elks Lodge of Nelliston.

The couple will reside near Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 2009 graduate of Herkimer County Community College.

The bridegroom is a 2007 graduate of Johnstown High School. He is serving with the U.S. Marine Corps, stationed at Camp Lejeune.
