Christina Stewart, the granddaughter of Art and Linda Soules of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Matthew Christman, the son of Ron and Linda Christman of Meco, at noon Aug. 1, 2009.

The ceremony took place at Pine Brook Golf Course.

The bride was escorted by her son, Zachary Jones of Gloversville.

The matrons of honor were Melissa Simmons of Canajoharie, Gretchen Palmer and Lisa Tesi, both of Gloversville, and Starr Walker of Saratoga, sisters of the bride, and Linda Christman. The maids of honor were Mary Premo and Amanda Christman, both of Gloversville, Mandy Dodson of Canajoharie. The miniature maid of honor Alyssa Christman of Gloversville. The flower girl was Olivia Tyson of Canajoharie. The miniature bride was Kassidy Valachovic of Gloversville.

The best men were Jason Christman, Ron Christman Jr., brothers of the bridegroom, Ron Chritman Sr., Eric Sartin, Luke Case, Robert Valachovic, Brad Saunders, all of Gloversville, Ron Jones of Canajoharie, William Villanueva and Zach Jones, both of Gloversville. The ringbearer was Qadence Jones of Canajoharie. The miniature bridegroom was Ronnie Christman III of Gloversville.

A reception for 100 guests took place in Meco at the home of the bridegroom's parents with an aerial display after.

A wedding trip is planned for a later date.
