Thanks for help with catching thieves

January 11, 2010
The Leader Herald

As many of you may have read in the paper, a couple of teenagers, who incidently were our customers, decided to break into Lennons Power Equipment and Paintball Discount Center. Their purpose was to help themselves to more than $2,000 worth of paintball equipment after midnight when they thought no one would care to be watching.

But thank God for good friends and neighbors like Mitch Insogna, who was driving by and looked over at our parking lot and noticed a parked car with lights on. He turned around and came back, and upon investigation, found that the two had broken in and were carrying out merchandise and putting it in the car. Mitch, having his cell phone with him, called 911 and reported the break-in. At this time, the thieves decided to make a run for it, but because of the light snow on the ground, Mitch was able to follow their car tracks and keep the sheriff's deputies alert to where they were going.

Because of Mitch's caring and quick thinking, the thieves were apprehended by the Fulton County Sheriff's Department deputies.

We would just like to thank Mitch Insogna, the Sheriff's Department and others who help to keep our community safe.
