Erin Henze, the daughter of Robert and Kathy Henze of Gloversville, was united in marriage to David Esler, the son of Richard and Celina Esler of Mayfield, at 2 p.m. July 25, 2009.
The ceremony took place at St. Joseph's Church, Broadalbin. The Rev. Thomas Morrette officiated.

The matron of honor was Rachel Iorio of Gloversville, sister. The bridal attendants were: Lisa Esler-Brauer of Amherst, Erie County, and Valerie Esler-Hamel of Saratoga Springs, sisters of the bridegroom; Jami Kadle and Jennie Tracy, both of Gloversville, and Melissa Cline of Albany, all cousins of the bride; and Abbey Ramsey of Los Angeles, Calif. The flower girls were Emmalee Kadle of Gloversville, cousin of the bride, and Alexandra Brauer of Amherst, niece of the bridegroom.
The best man was Richard Esler of Mayfield, father of the bridegroom. The ushers were David Brauer of Amherst, Eric Hamel of Saratoga Springs, Armando Iorio of Gloversville, Patrick Doherty of Glens Falls, Alan Ng of Albany and Saverio Prisco of Delhi, Delaware County. The ringbearer was Jackson Brauer of Amherst, nephew of the bridegroom.
A reception for 175 guests took place at the Glen Sanders Mansion, Scotia.
A wedding trip took place in Antigua, West Indies. The couple resides in Gloversville.
The bride received a bachelor's degree at the State University of New York at Cortland and a master's degree at SUNY New Paltz, Ulster County. She is a speech-language pathologist for Saratoga Springs City School District.
The bridegroom received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree at SUNY Binghamton, Broome County. He is a mechanical engineer at GE's Global Research Center.
