Jennifer Lynn Hickok, the daughter of Daniel Hickok of Scotia and Vanessa Sheppard of Gloversville, was united in marriage to Christopher Aaron Caputo, the son of Amico and Joyce Caputo of Johnstown, at 7 p.m. Aug. 15, 2009.

The ceremony took place at the Riverstone Manor, Glenville. The Rev. Christopher Hamm officiated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The matron of honor was Heather Armour of Syracuse. The bridal attendants were Debra Van Husen and Christina Sitts, both of Gloversville and Karrie Novak of Cooperstown. The junior bridesmaid was Molly McDonough of Narberth, Pa., cousin of the bride. The flower girls were Remy McDonough of Narberth, and Sofia Darnall of Chapel Hill, N.C., cousins of the bride.

The best man was Mike Malatino of Rensselaer. The ushers were Marc Hickok of Tampa, Fla., brother of the bride, Brice Mason of Niskayuna and Will Stock of Johnstown. The junior usher was Cort McDonough of Narberth, cousin of the bride. The ringbearer was Connor Sitts of Gloversville, godson of the bride.

A reception for 180 guests took place at Riverstone Manor.

A wedding trip took place at the Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone National Park. The couple resides in Gloversville.

The bride attended the State University of New York at Cortland. She is a sixth-grade teacher at Warren Street Elementary School, Johnstown.

The bridegroom attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He is a contract administrator for Bechtell Marine Propulsion Corp.
