JOHNSTOWN - The Greater Johnstown School District Board of Education will hear a report from designers of the district's new bus garage at its meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday at Johnstown High School.
Engineers and architects from Bearsch Compeau Knudson Architects & Engineers of Binghamton, Broome County, are expected to be introduced to the board.
The board recently selected the firm to design the bus garage on district land near the high school. The board voted Oct. 1 to build the new bus garage. Construction costs for the new facility are expected to be about $576,000. With design and other expenses, the total cost may rise to $1.5 million.
Other items on the agenda include numerous personnel matters and an Audit Committee report.
