Ruth Shepard celebrated her 100th birthday Nov. 14 at Hillcrest Spring Adult Home, Amsterdam. Attending the celebration were residents, friends and family. Ruth was presented with flowers and a decorated cake at a short ceremony. She still exercises and plays the piano from memory.
