Couple celebrates 50th wedding anniversary

Mario and Margaret (Kardok) Locatelli of Gloversville, celebrated their 50th wedding aniversary Oct. 24.

The couple married Oct. 24, 1959, at St. Casimir's Roman Catholic Church, Amsterdam. Their matron of honor was Dorothy Gormley, sister of the bride and the best man was Rudolph Ralbovsky.

Mario Locatelli retired as a General Electric engineer at Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Niskayuna, after over 40 years of service. He enjoys camping and fishing in the Adirondack Mountains.

Margaret Locatelli is semi-retired, working for Stanyon Financial Services, Gloversville. A past president of the Kingsboro Garden Club, she enjoys gardening and cooking.

They have two children, Mark (Charlotte) Locatelli of Gloversville and Matthew (Carrie) Locatelli fo Saranac Lake; and two grandchildren, Caroline and Joan Locatelli of Gloversville.
