Clinics to serve priority groups
The H1N1 vaccination clinics scheduled for Saturday in Amsterdam and Canajoharie are for Montgomery County residents in the top priority groups, a news release said.
The priority groups are pregnant women, children and young adults ages 6 months to 24 years old, people who live with or care for infants younger than 6 months, health care and emergency medical personnel, and anyone age 25 to 64 with certain chronic medical conditions or a weakened immune system.
Vaccines will be available to others at a later date, the news release said.
The locations for Saturday's clinics are the Canajoharie Family Health Center on Erie Boulevard and St. Mary's Memorial Health Center on Route 30. The times are 8 a.m. to noon.
