H.S. Bowling Roundup: Canajoharie wins season opener

JOHNSTOWN - Jake Pamkowski rolled a 266-671 to lead Canajoharie to a 3-1 win over Fonda-Fultonville in a Western Athletic Conference match at Perry Lanes.

Joe Mazzarella added a 205-601 for Canajoharie, which finished with a 2,728-2,604 edge in the total pin count.

Ryan Douglas had a 225-598 to lead Fonda-Fultonville, while Ryan Hayner added a 210-540. Jaymes Kuehner had a 190-537 for the Braves.

Western Athletic Conference

Mayfield 4, Saratoga Catholic 0

GLOVERSVILLE - Andrew Askew had a 225-588 to lead Mayfield to a sweep of Saratoga Catholic at Starlite Lanes.

Evan Dutcher added a 191-41 for the Panthers, while Mike Young had a 185-515.

Pat Bunk led Saratoga Catholic with a 173-493.

Mayfield finished with a 2,543-2,177 edge in the total pin count.

Big 10

Amsterdam 4, Catholic Central 0

AMSTERDAM - Jeremy McGaffin rolled a 614 to lead Amsterdam to a sweep of Catholic Central at Imperial Lanes.

Tom Lalla added a 610 for the Rams, while Garrett Anthony had a 603.

Arianna Gaddy-Collington paced Catholic Central with a 592.

Amsterdam finished with a 3,420-2,694 in the total pin count.

Western Athletic Conference

Canajoharie 4, Fonda-Fultonville 0

JOHNSTOWN- Ashley Putnam rolled a 196-571 to help Canajoharie defeat Fonda-Fultonville on Monday in a Western Athletic Conference match at Perry Lanes.

Shelby Colegrove added a 192-506 for Canajoharie, which finsihed with a 2,149-1,542 edge in total pin count.

Mary Lewis paced FFCS with a 150-371.
