JOHNSTOWN - Four people were injured in a two-vehicle accident investigated by Fulton County sheriff's deputies at 11:44 a.m. Friday on County Highway 131, east of County Highway 131A near Rogers Family Orchard.

Deputies said both drivers - Joseph J. Semione, 77, of 16 Kent St., Gloversville, and Chad E. Spaulding, 37, of 681 Oswegatchie Road, Palatine Bridge - complained of leg or foot injuries. Deputies said both declined immediate medical attention.

Deputies said two of Spaulding's passengers - Christaf Herringshaw, 17, and Roseann M. Johnson, 34 - complained of head and neck injuries, respectively. Herringshaw declined immediate medical attention.

Johnson was taken to Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville.

Deputies said Semione was heading west on County Highway 131, and Spauling was headed east. Semione made a left turn into a driveway, and his car struck the Spauling pickup, according to deputies. Deputies said the Spaulding truck left 66 feet of skid marks prior to impact.

Semione was ticketed on a charge of failure to yield the right of way.
