FFCS boys win Greenwich Invy

SARATOGA SPRINGS - The Fonda-Fultonville boys cross country team won Friday at the Greenwich Invitational at Saratoga Spa State Park.

The Braves finished with a total of 43 points, while Kingston was second with 68 points. Zak Godfrey (16:34), Matt Hoffman (16:51), Cody Shave (16:56), Mike Scott (16:58), Ian Chapin (17:17), Cody Russell (17:55) and Kyle Geniti (17:59) competed for FFCS.

In the girls' race, Fonda-Fultonville finished third in the team standings with 89 points. Cobleskill-Richmondville won the team title with 43 points, while Mt. Anthony (Vt.) was second with 63 points.

Kim Geniti (19:10), Sam Phelps (20:14), Taylor Quon (22:21), Alicia DeRuscio (23:12), Paula Egelston (23:32) and Danielle Flander (25:37) competed for the Lady Braves.
