He was a beloved uncle to several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours for family and friends will be held Friday 4 to 7 p.m. at De Stefano Funeral Home, Rt. 5-S, Amsterdam. The Elks Club and The Columbian Social Club will meet at 6:00 p.m. for services. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with the Reverend Stanislaus Swierzowski officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery.
