SCHENECTADY - One-stroke was the difference Thursday in the Section II Class B golf tournament at Stadium Golf Club.

The Cobleskill-Richmondville Bulldogs edged the Johnstown Sir Bills 324-325 to claim the sectional championship.

Broadalbin-Perth place eighth (355) and Gloversville ninth (359) in the 19-team tournament.

Glens Falls' Connor Abess edged Johnstown's Richie Christman for medalist honors with his round off 77, while Christman shot 78.

Rounding out the scoring for Johnstown were Josh Brown (80), D.J. Ioele (82), Mich Vdoviak (85), Cam Husain (92) and Mike Gifford (117).

Garrison DeRocker paced Broadalbin-Perth with his round of 84, while Jacob Rounds shot 88, Tom Mittler, 89, Matt Carter 94 and Connor Gifford 116.

For Gloversville, Chris LeFever and Chris Mosconi shot rounds of 85 and 86 respectively, while Kevin Johnston added a 92, Mike Marra had a 94 and Tanner Stewart a 97.

Christman, Brown and Ioele advanced to play in the ABCD qualifier Tuesday at Orchard Creek.
