Geraldine Comfort Bauder

Geraldine Comfort Bauder (Robinson), 98, died at Resurrection Nursing Home, Castleton, NY on Sunday October 4, 2009. Born in 1911 in Rochester, NY to Harry and Ethel Robinson. Wed Alwyn E. Bauder, Johnstown, NY in 1932. She attended Johnstown Schools and graduated from Crane School of Music, University of Potsdam. She taught in various schools including Northville, Fonda, the Flats, Sammonsville, Wheelerville, Warren Street, Bethlehem, Glenmont and Delmar. She was a member of the Eastern Star of St. Patrick's Masonic Temple.

Predeceased by her husband, Alwyn; and her sister, Doris Albrecht. Survived by her children, Janet E. Franklin, McKinney, TX; granddaughters, Amanda Joseph and Melissa Lyn, TX; son, Alan C. Bauder and Sally; grandsons, Chad Bauder and Justyn Bauder; great-grandchildren, Meghan, Joshua and Jayden Bauder and Chelsea Grover.

A graveside service will be held at Ferndale Cemetery, Johnstown, NY Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 1:30 PM.
