Olen Daniel Costello is the son of Jaime Rulison and Daniel Costello of Johnstown. He was born at 4:52 a.m. Aug. 23 at Bellevue Woman's Hospital, Niskayuna, weighing 8 pounds 13 ounces and was 20 inches long. Olen joins a brother, Gregory Costello.

The maternal grandparents are Steve Rulison of Johnstown, Carole Deyoe of Caroga Lake and Mike O'Neill of Herkimer. The maternal great-grandparents are Audrey and Ray Rulison of Gloversville.

The paternal grandparents are Nancy Costello of Caroga Lake and the late Frank Costello.
