By The Leader-HeraldGALWAY - Cassi Brancato had 12 assists, six service points and three blocks as Mayfield swept Galway, 3-0, in a battle of unbeatens Tuesday.
Mayfield won the match by scores of 25-21, 25-22 and 26-24.
Kacie Edwards had nine kills for Mayfield (9-0 overall, 7-0 WAC), while Whitney Ostrander had seven kills.
Katie Lasak led Galway with 12 assists and nine service points, while Katie Zawisa had 10 service points and five aces for Galway (7-1 overall, 6-1 WAC).
Schenectady Christian 3, Canajoharie 1
CANAJOHARIE - Heidi Frazer had 14 kills to lead Schenectady Christian to a win over Canajoharie in a matchup of WAC unbeatens.
Schenectady Christian won by scores of 23-25, 25-15, 33-31 and 25-20.
Rachael Brush had 15 assists for Schenectady Christian (8-0 overall, 6-0 WAC).
Halli Stroemsvaag had 16 assists and 11 kills to lead Canajoharie (6-2 overall, 6-1 WAC).
Caitlyn Mosher had 19 assists and four aces for the Lady Cougars, while Jane Boppert had 12 digs and four assists. Laura Williams added 13 service points and three aces for Canajoharie and Mary Adams had 10 kills.
Fonda-Fultonville 3, Saratoga Catholic 1
FONDA - Audrey Guiberson had 13 service points, nine aces, five kills and three blocks to lead Fonda-Fultonville to a win over Saratoga Catholic.
The Lady Braves won by scores of 25-12, 23-25, 25-23 and 25-21.
Katie Kietzmann added four kills and four aces for Fonda-Fultonville (5-4 overall, 3-3 WAC), while Alex Sinicropi had 13 service points.
Jennifer Diggins had 13 service points and two aces for Saratoga Catholic (3-3 overall, 2-3 WAC), while Marie Sullivan had eight kills.
