Take part in cleanup day

POSTED: September 30, 2009

On Saturday, the residents and businesses of Fulton County will once again have an opportunity to participate in the Annual Fall Clean Up Day sponsored by the Fulton County Regional Chamber of Commerce & Industry and the Fulton County Board of Realtors.

The event will take place throughout the county and will start at 9 a.m. at the chamber office at 2 N. Main St., Gloversville, where trash bags, garbage grabbers, gloves and safety vests will be available. The theme for the Clean Up Day is "Take Pride in Fulton County. Think Clean. Go Green."

Signup sheets are available at the chamber office; the Board of Realtors Office, 32 Spring St., Gloversville; any local Realtor's office; and at the chamber's Business Expo from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Johnstown Moose Club.

You also can send e-mail to events@fultoncountyny.org for more information.

Now is a great time to get our county ready for the fall tourism season. Remember, you never get a second chance to make a first impression. Get your friends, neighbors and co-workers together and take pride in Fulton County.
