GLEN - A registered Level 3 sex offender from Fultonville was arrested by Montgomery County sheriff's deputies Tuesday on a charge of failing to register.
Sheriff Mike Amato said Gregory A. Duesler, 49, of 74 Main St., was charged with the felony under state corrections law for failing to verify his registry information every 90 days.
Amato said the suspect was convicted in Montgomery County Court in September 2007 for possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child younger than 16.
He was arraigned in Town Court and sent to the County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
The case was turned over to county District Attorney James "Jed" Conboy for further action.
