CANAJOHARIE - Laura Williams had 18 service points and nine aces as Canajoharie topped Middleburgh 3-1 in a Western Athletic Conference volleyball match.

The Lady Cougars prevailed by scored of 29-27, 25-18, 23-25 and 25-16.

Caitlin Mosher added 20 assists and five digs for Canajoharie (2-1 overall, 2-0 WAC), while Jane Boppert had 14 kills.

Lauren Weaver had eight kills for Middleburgh, while Jenna Wood added seven aces.

Saratoga Catholic 3, Fort Plain 1

FORT PLAIN - Jennifer Diggins had 15 service points and nine aces as Saratoga Catholic topped Fort Plain.

The Saints won by scores of 25-10, 21-25, 25-12 and 25-17.

Marie Sullivan added 12 points, 10 aces and nine kills for Saratoga Catholic (2-0 overall, 2-0 WAC), while Alex Kirby had 11 assists and Justine Jasper added six aces.

Becca Rush led Fort Plain (0-2 overall, 0-2 WAC) with 12 service points and three digs. Kelsey Hagadorn had five blocks and two aces for the Lady Hilltoppers, while Brittani Sauve and Alyssa Introne each had three digs.
