Doris Bradford Franz passed away June 26, in Miami, Florida, just shy of her 100th birthday. She was born in Montreal, Quebec August 9, 1909, the only child of British parents Guy and Mabel Bradford. Her father was an early filmmaker and she traveled extensively, living in Los Angeles and New York. She married Silas Franz of Dolgeville, N.Y., and they had one son, Paul. She is survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandsons. She will be remembered as an elegant lady with a keen sense of humor and British wit. We will all miss her kindness and generosity and sweet blue-eyed smiles. A service will be held at 11 a.m. August 9, at the Dolgeville cemetery.
