LOUDON, N.H. - After picking up a career-best 11th starting spot in Friday's Heluva Good! Summer 125, Mayfield's Dustin Delaney battled an ill-handling car to finish 17th at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

Delaney battled in the top 10 most of the race before an on-track incident damaged the front-end suspension.

At the front of the 29-car field, it came down to a battle of rookies with Matt DiBenedetto of Grass Valley, Calif. bumping his way to a win over polesitter Ryan Truex for a Heluva Good! finish in NASCAR Camping World Series East race.

DiBenedetto led most of the second half of the race, but a late caution and double-file restart put Truex in front.

That set up a last-lap charge from DiBenedetto in his No. 18 Joe Gibbs Driven Toyota. He got into the back end of Truex's No. 00 NAPA Toyota going into turn 3, and the two were door handle to door handle coming out of turn 4 as the battle continued.

"We just hit doors, and then I stood on the gas, wide open, aiming for that Start/Finish line. It was all I was looking at," said DiBenedetto.

"We were where we needed to be and it got taken away from us," said Truex.
