Charges dropped in missing pills case

GLOVERSVILLE - The charges against an Ambulance Service of Fulton County attendant who was accused of taking prescription drugs from the home of a dead woman were dismissed Monday.

Donald Coy, 54, of North Perry Street, Johnstown, was arrested by Gloversville police in June after a dead woman's relatives said pills were missing from her home.

City Court Judge Vincent DeSantis dismissed the charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny, saying the complaint did not support the charges.
