FM trustees renew Swanger’s contract

JOHNSTOWN- Fulton-Montgomery Community College President Dustin Swanger's employment contract with the institution was extended last week to run through 2013.

Swanger began serving as president of the college on Route 67 in July 2006. He was formally installed in the office in April 2007. He had previously served as an administrator at Luzerne County Community College in Pennsylvania.

The FM Board of Trustees unanimously approved the contract extension at a meeting Thursday. Swanger will receive a 15 percent pay raise, earning $145,000 annually. His previous salary was $126,000.
