Water-tasting event planned Wednesday

VAIL MILLS - The Fulton County Soil & Water Conservation District will conduct its annual "Water Taste Off" competition among five municipalities - the cities of Gloversville and Johnstown and the villages of Broadalbin, Mayfield and Northville.
The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Gateway to the Adirondacks Visitor Center at the junction of Route 29 and Route 30.
The winning water will be submitted for the state competition later this summer.
