Fire official to run for Mohawk post

MOHAWK?- Raymond P. Tylutki Jr. of Tribes Hill has announced his intention to run for town supervisor.
Tylutki, a Republican, is an assistant chief with the Fort Hunter Volunteer Fire Department.
In a news release, he said he intends to "bring renewed interest to our area, enhance community relations and increase efforts for public safety funding."
He said he wants to improve the town youth commission, increase activities in the town park in Tribes Hill and explore the possibility of grant funding for infrastructure projects.
Tylutki has lived in the area for more than 25 years. He said he and his wife, Katherine, are expecting their first child.
