Seafood thief hooked according to deputies
PALATINE BRIDGE - Deputies have charged a second woman in connection with thefts of seafood and other items from the village Price Chopper.
Montgomery County sheriff's deputies arrested Felicia A. Tulej, 45, of 4890 Route 12B, Oriskany Falls, Oneida County, on Friday and charged her with felony fourth-degree grand larceny and attempted petit larceny.
Deputies said Tulej was found in Utica. The sheriff's office had issued a warrant for Tulej through Palatine Town Court.
Tulej was arraigned in Palatine Town Court by Judge Cuomo and sent to the Montgomery County Jail in lieu of $25,000 bail.
Police said they arrested Tulej's accomplice Tuesday.
Heather M. Rimmer, 32, of 488 Marilyn Drive, Utica, was arrested at her home on the same charges. She was released on appearance tickets.
The two women are accused of stealing $1,000 worth of seafood from the Price Chopper in February and attempting to make off with another $892 in goods from the store May 3.
