PERTH - A fire at 332 Reidel Road destroyed a garage next to a home Friday.

Perth Volunteer Fire Chief Peter Watrobski said his department was dispatched at 3:04 p.m., and the fire was extinguished and firefighters were back to their station by 5:47 p.m.

Watrobski said a motorcycle in the garage also was a total loss. An investigation into the fire's cause was under way, though Watrobski said it is not thought to be suspicious.

The Broadalbin Volunteer Fire Department also responded to the scene.
