James T. Borland

James T. Borland, 20, of Fourth Avenue, Gloversville, died Sunday, Nov. 30, 2008, from injuries sustained from an automobile accident.

Born May 29, 1988, in Gloversville, he was the son of Kevin and Rachael Lobdell. James graduated from Fonda Fultonville High School.

He had been employed as a chef at Pinebrook Golf Club in Gloversville. It was James' dream to become an executive chef.

James attended St. Patrick's Church, Johnstown.

He is survived by his mother, Rachael Lobdell Borland and his father Kevin Borland of Gloversville; his grandmother, Ellie Burchill of Gloversville; sisters Britany Pollard and Cameron Pollard; several cousins; step-grandparents Queen Ester Williams and Henry "Pa" Pollard Sr.

He is predeceased by his stepfather Henry "Uncle" Pollard Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday at 11 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church, Johnstown with the Rev. Michael Cambi as celebrant. Cremation will be in Parkview Crematory, Schenectady. Calling hours are Wed. from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Barter & Donnan Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
