Robert and Julia Barclay of Mayfield, recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Gloversville Veterans of Foreign Wars Post. The party was given by their children Bob Barclay Jr. of and Ronda Barclay, both of Gloversville.
The couple married Aug. 9, 1958 at the Johnstown Reformed Church.
Those attending were from surrounding areas and out-of-state.

They have four grandchildren, Bruce, Colin, Nicholas and Kirstin Barclay, all of Gloversville.
Robert Barclay is retired from the New York State Depart of Transportation and Fulton County Sheriff's Department.
Julia Barclay worked at the Superb Glove Co. in Johnstown and as a nanny most of her life.
