Office for Aging plans open house

AMSTERDAM - An open house will be hosted by the Montgomery County Office for the Aging at its new location Dec. 9 from 2 to 7 p.m.

The event will be sponsored by New York Oncology Hematology, with a ribbon cutting by the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce at 5:30 p.m.

A themed basket raffle during the open house will be drawn at 6 p.m. to benefit the Office for Aging Foundation of the Mohawk Valley.

Entrants do not need to be present to win. There will be 17 baskets in the raffle, sponsored by the foundation board and OFA board members. Basket themes include Baker's Dozen, Child's Play, Gold Star Treatment and WineDown.

Baskets will be at various locations for viewing.
