Meghan Sleezer (Gloversville) was named a Liberty League co-Rookie of the Week as she posted two shutouts for the Skidmore College women's soccer team.
Her goaltending helped preserve the Thoroughbreds' 2-0 win over Hamilton College, which helped Sleezer earn her third weekly conference award of the season.
Sleezer has appeared in 13 games for Skidmore with 11 starts and she has allowed six goals and made 56 saves with five shutouts.

L.B. McCloskey (Gloversville) made a season-high four tackles and broke up a pass in the University at Albany football team's 26-21 win over previously unbeaten Sacred Heart.
McCloskey has 12 tackles, one interception and two pass breakups this season as the Great Danes have won nine in a row against Northeast Conference opponents.

Matt Begeal (Wells) had an overtime assist, helping to lift the Hilbert College men's soccer team to a 3-2 win over Wells College Friday.
Begeal has appeared in 13 games for Hilbert with two starts and has managed two assists so far this season.
Jenna McIntosh (Johnstown) volleyed a ball over the defense for an assist leading the University of Massachusetts-Lowell to a 1-1 tie against Assumption Oct. 15.
McIntosh has a goal and two assists for the River Hawks for a total of four points.
