Autism support group to meet

FORT PLAIN - The Fort Plain Autism Support Group meets at 6:30 p.m. the third Wednesday of each month.

Details of disabilities, therapy and support systems for families of disabled and autistic children are discussed.

The next meeting will be Sept. 17 with speaker Layna Maher who will speak on "Steps to Successful Special Education."

Parents, guardians, family members, teachers and students are welcome.

The group meets at the Fort Plain United Methodist Church at 30 Center St. and Lydius Street.
