CAROGA LAKE - The 29th annual Monster Motorcycle, ATV and Snowmobile Hillclimb will take place Sunday at 11 a.m. at Royal Mountain Ski Area.

Admission for the event is $10 and the fee to race also is $10.
According to a news release, this event is the highlight of the racing season at Royal Mountain, with over 200 of the fastest hill climbers in the Northeast competing. It is a points-paying event for the New England Hillclimbers and is the only time they come to New York.
Class will include 50cc, 80cc, 125cc, 200cc, 400cc, 750cc, open, senior, women's, ATV 250, ATV 500 and snowmobile.
All hill climbers will get two chances at the hill with the fastest of the two times counting.
According to a news release, Royal's 700-foot hill is the longest and roughest on the circuit. Choosing the proper line is as important as horsepower.
The top four in each class will win awards with the fastest time of the day winning the Monster trophy. There also will be bike judging for road bikes, raffles and more.
All racing at Royal is sponsored by Bartyzel Distributors of Amsterdam and Monster Energy Drinks.
