Marie N. Pedrick

Marie N. Pedrick, age 91, of the Wells House Nursing Home and formerly of Broadalbin, N.Y., passed away on July 18, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital, Amsterdam, N.Y.

She was born on Oct. 29, 1916 in Gloversville, N.Y., the daughter of Wilbur and Nellie Wilson Barker.

She was a graduate of Gloversville H.S. and was first employed as a bookkeeper for the Schine Corp. and was last employed for many years at Johnstown Leather Corp.

Mrs. Pedrick was first united in marriage to Floyd "Larry" Vosteen, who passed away in 1951 and secondly to William G. Pedrick.

Mrs. Pedrick was a member of the Bleecker Church of Christ and was a youth leader at the church.

She is survived by a daughter, Joan Vosteen, of Broadalbin, N.Y., four sons; William M. Pedrick of N. C., Richard Vosteen of N.C., David Vosteen of Virginia, and Paul Vosteen of Johnstown, N.Y., ten grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Ehle Funeral Home where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday.

Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville, N.Y.
