Aleea Meacham, the daughter of Mark and Franceen Meacham of Broadalbin, was united in marriage to Eric Roods, the son of Bonnie Roods of Ballston Spa, Saratoga County, and Phill Roods of Saratoga Springs, at 4:30 p.m. May 31.

The ceremony took place at the Broadalbin United Methodist Church. The Rev. Bill Dehlia officated.

The bride was escorted by her father.

The maid of honor was Jennifer Ryan of Schenectady. The bridal attendants were Valarie Flanders and Laura Striefert, both of Schenectady. The junior bridesmaid was Taylor Rose of Mayfield, sister of the bride. The flower girl was Ashley Owens of Schenectady.

The best man was Matthew Turney of Schuylerville, Saratoga County, cousin of the bridegroom. The ushers were Jonathan Cowell of Mayfield, cousin of the bridegroom; and Matthew Meacham of Broadalbin, brother of the bride.

A reception for 100 guests took place at Vincenza's Banquet House, Gloversville.

A wedding trip took place in Orlando, Fla. The couple resides in Mayfield.

The bride is a 2000 graduate of Broadalbin-Perth High School and works in accounts payable at Stock Building Supply, Schenectady.

The bridegroom is a 1990 graduate of Saratoga Springs High School and works in distribution for Quad Graphics, Saratoga.
