Mary F. Keaveney

Mary F. Keaveney, age 93, died July 2 at Nathan Littauer Extended Care Facility. She was born September 4, 1914, the daughter of Michael and Julia Franko. On June 15, 1940, she was united in marriage to John "Jack" Keaveney. Survivors include her husband, Jack; son, Colonel (retired) Michael Keaveney of Colorado Springs, CO; and daughter, Elaine Mongin of Johnstown; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Wilma Wormuth, Harriet Loveys and Evelyn Marshall; and a brother, Frederick Franko.

Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnstown Public Library.

The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Nathan Littauer Extended Care Facility for the dedicated and compassionate care given to Mary.
