Fireworks displays slated this weekend

Fireworks displays are planned throughout the area for the upcoming Fourth of July weekend.

On Thursday, there will be fireworks at:

Sherman's Park, 104 E. Shore Road, Caroga Lake,

Lanzi's on the Lake, Route 30, Mayfield, and

Fort Plain's annual Fourth on the Third event. Fireworks will happen at 9:45 p.m., followed by a bonfire. Parking will be available at Fuccillo's during the fireworks.

On Saturday, there will be fireworks at:

the I-GO-INN Restaurant & Bar, 241 South Shore Road, Edinburg, and

Northville, over the little lake.

On Sunday, there will be fireworks at:

Sport Island Pub, 108 Riverside Drive, Northampton, and

Parkfest at Shuttleworth Park in Amsterdam. The display will start at 7 p.m.
