Soccer skills camp slated at B-P

POSTED: June 30, 2008

BROADALBIN - There will be a Broadalbin Youth Commission Soccer Skills Camp from July 28 through Aug. 1 at Broadalbin-Perth's soccer field.

The five-day camp will run from 6 to 8 p.m. each day and cost $60 per player. Boys and girls from Fulton and Montgomery counties who are entering the first grade through the ninth grade in the fall are welcome.

The camp will teach the fundamentals of soccer, while putting campers through drills and games that are age-appropriate and challenging. Also, the camp's staff will demonstrate soccer skills to the campers through hands-on activities.

Campers will receive a T-shirt. The camp is organized and run by the Broadalbin-Perth boys' soccer coaching staff.

Checks can be made payable to B-P Soccer Club. For more information, call B-P boys' soccer coach Brian Henry at 435-5197 or e-mail him at bhenry4@nycap.rr.com.
